When making direct configuration changes in Entra ID, even minor adjustments can unexpectedly disrupt critical conditional access policies, potentially affecting your organization's productivity and security. Fortunately, Salto makes it easy to quickly recover from these unintended changes.

Let's look at an example where a conditional access policy was unintentionally restricted to a limited IP location.

Using Salto's Change Log, we'll demonstrate how simple it is to revert this specific configuration change.

  1. Use Salto’s Change Log to find the deployment containing the correct configuration and click Restore
  2. Salto will automatically surface all the differences between the current configuration and the configuration in your chosen deployment.
  3. Use the Compare screen to choose only the change(s) you wish to revert
  4. Review your selection and deploy the change

With Salto, managing Entra ID configurations becomes straightforward, precise, and reliable, helping your team maintain stability and swiftly recover from unintended disruptions. To learn more - book a 1:1 session or try Salto’s free trial.
